The MWCA Fall Ideas Exchange will take place on Friday evening, Oct.15 and all day Saturday, Oct. 16 on the campus of Lake Superior State University. The conference will be co-hosted by LSSU, NMU, Bay de Noc Community College and Gogebic Community College. Registration will be $20 for students and $55 for staff. More information will be posted as soon as it is available.

The ICWA-NCPTW conference, "Safe Harbors or Open Seas? Navigating Currents in Writing Center Work," will take place in Baltimore, Nov. 4-6, 2010.

MWCA Ideas Exchange Held annually in the fall at a different institution each year. See link in red column for more specific information.

East Central Writing Centers Association (ECWCA) Conference Held annually in the spring. The ECWCA is our regional writing centers association and is loosely defined to include approximately ten states in the east-central region of the U.S. Search the web for up-to-date information on upcoming ECWCA conferences.

International Writing Centers Association (IWCA) Conference Held approximately every 18 months. Although this is an international conference, it has been held (thus far) in U.S. locations only. This is an excellent site full of great resources, including information on upcoming IWCA summer institutes.

National Conference on Peer Tutoring in Writing (NCPTW) Held approximately every 18 months. The NCPTW is a conference that has historically focused on the specific needs and interests of peer tutors. Conferences are sometimes combined with IWCA. Search the web for up-to-date information about upcoming conferences.
