Writing Center Profiles

Although our Membership Directory (See red column on right) provides contact information and basic information about type of institution and type of writing support, it is not designed to provide specifics. The Writing Center profiles accessible in this section will serve as a vehicle for us to introduce ourselves to one another more fully and educate each other about the scope of writing support in the state of Michigan.

We encourage you to provide a profile for your writing center or writing support service. This profile should be limited to 500 words and may describe your method for serving students, your philosophy, your staffing, your student population, the number of students and faculty served annually, your budget, your institutional "location," your space, and anything else you feel important in introducing yourself. Please send one or two digital pictures (in .jpg or .gif) format with your profile if you wish. And if your writing center or service has its own homepage, by all means, include the URL.

Profiles should be sent to Jill Reglin by using this hotlink or sending a message to penninj@lcc.edu.
